Almond Pain au Chocolat

Twice baked flaky Pain au Chocolat with house made Almond Frangipane and flaked almonds. A dowsing in brandy sugar syrup, dusting of icing sugar and squiggle of dark chocolate finishes off this sumptuous pastry.
Our pastry is made from scratch with 100% New Zealand Butter.  

Storage: Keep in an airtight container.

How to refresh: Preheat your oven to 170 degrees. Pop the pastries on a tray and bake in oven for 5-10 minutes or until warmed through.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Whole Milk, Water, Butter, Malt Flour, Yeast, Sugar, Salt, Chocolate Batons (sugar, cocoa paste, cocoa butter, vanilla), Almond Frangipane (almond meal, egg, butter, sugar) Brandy Sugar Syrup (Sugar, Water, Brandy).
