Dark Rye Sourdough
A dense rye sourdough. This hearth bread is a 50% rye flour loaf. It has a moist closed crumb and a chewy crust. We recommend eating fresh for days 1-2 and eating toasted up to day five.
Storage: Once sliced open, keep in a cool dry area for up to five days. Or alternatively slice and freeze for up to three months.
Ingredients: Rye flour, wheat flour, rye levain (rye flour and water), water, salt.
